You made it – your little one will soon be celebrating their first birthday!!
If you are thinking of doing a photoshoot to celebrate then you may have thought about a cake smash. Well, I’m going to be honest with you. I really don’t like traditional cake smashes.
Wait, what??
Most cake smashes are bright and colourful with balloons and big garish cakes. And that is what you would see when you look back at the photos. Not only will those fancy backdrops and balloons distract from that cute little face but it is quite possible that your little one would find the whole thing rather overwhelming and may not be the happiest bunny during their photoshoot.

My simple smash & splash sessions are exactly that, simple. The all white set up is timeless and keeps the focus on the star of the show. It will also create a nice relaxed environment in which your little one will shine.
At the start of the session there is an opportunity to do a few family photos. Not only is this the perfect time to update your family portraits but it’s a great way to get your baby used to me and the camera.
Then we move on to the cake smash. I will provide a small & delicious 4″ white cake. The perfect size for them to pick up if they want to! Please let me know if they have any special dietary requirements.
After the cake it’s time to get cleaned up in a bubble bath and have a good splash about. Often their favourite bit!
Cake Smash & Splash Pricing
All sessions require a £99 non-refundable deposit in order to secure your photoshoot which will be deducted from your final payment. At your viewing session, which will be one or two weeks after your shoot, you will be able to select one of the Digital Bundles below or my All Inclusive Collections.
